Yes I had to, I wasn't able to backup the old one. The db is now hosted remotely so there won't be recurring problems. Sorry.

This is actually a lot better than any of its kind I have seen before.

The only thing I would ask you to maybe think about changing was adding a text box were you add text because its a little hard to decipher were to add text when you first go on the site.
