Freeware program to split avi-mp4-wmv-mpeg archives

Hi.

I would like to ask you if you know any freeware program so that i can split/cut avi-wmv-mp4-mpeg files.

For example i have a video file which has duration 30 minutes and i want to get only the part from the 5th minute to the 10th eg

VrtualDub is good, but it works only with avi archives.

Any ideas?

why don't you use windows movie maker? its free and it comes with an operating system
