    Default https indexing problem

Some of my sites are getting indexed by google with https, instead of http, and this crap is killing my site, since I don't have SSL certificate (imagine the reason why, lol)

So, any idea how to fix this? (btw, redirection from https to http doesn't work, since red message that I don't have SSL certificate will still be displayed to anyone trying to land on my pages that google indexed as https)

How do I disable https indexing, and make google index proper links?

Why did it index your site in https in the first place? Try to get a free ssl certificate from startssl temporarily then redirect all https to http till google updates their indexed links of your website.

I have several sites on same VPS, all wordpress blogs, only one is facing this issue, where google is indexing https AND http at the same time.

Why did it index your site in https in the first place?
If I know that, I would know how to remove it
I can't because I would need also dedicated IP, that would mean transferring other sites to another VPS.

Ohh then its not server based as other blogs work fine.Check your DNS settings at your domain provider.

Creating a 301 permanent redirect to redirect all https pages to http version will make google index the http url rather than https version so it will be fixed next time google crawls your site.
Also, make sure you specify canonical tag in your pages which links to the http version. Read info here: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogsp...canonical.html

301 will work for Google, maybe, if done properly, but what about already indexed pages, and visitors landing on https, instead of http? They are still seeing red warning.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do other then waiting. The visitors will have to once click on "Proceed Anyway" or add security exception (on firefox) and then they will be redirected to http version
