Well, as I said, I haven't had any problems with them and when I download my own files to send to other hosts, they're still there.

I've seen people complaining their files are randomly disappearing, but I haven't experience any of that. But I use only 800 GB/ 4000 files, so it's not that much yet.

I have a Filefactory premium account that I use only as a safe haven for my files (aka backup). Since I don't post any of the files, none of them have been deleted. I have about 5TB of data on there. Still, it's not perfect. The upload speed is ok, but a lot of times, when I'm using zoom uploader, it'll get stuck on 100%. The download speed is good, but there are times when their servers go offline and you won't have access for a few hours or days.

They're still having their $39/year promo for the premium account. Just go to their premium page and add /promo to the end of it and hit enter.

Another possible backup is http://1fichier.com . Their upload speed is just okay. If you have a premium account, then the download speed will be good. It has unlimited storage. Plus, the price is very good. 13 Euros for 6 months, 25 Euros for 1 year, or 60 Euros for a Lifetime account.

I'm also looking for a host where I can keep my files as backup and also provide it for easy download for others.

Lately many of the hosts I use have waiting times between files or limited download slots.

If putlocker doesn't have any of these limitations, it'll be perfect for me and I'll get a pro account.
60 minutes waiting time after some gigabytes download for free users.
You can test it by using JDownloader.

I had asked them directly and they replied the limit is dynamic, depending on your contribution.
If you can generate good sales, storing more data is still no problem.
You have to talk to them because they have an explicit "Fair Use Policy" rule.

Yes, but currently only $9/month recurring premium is available on megashares. The other 3/6 months are not, so for now they're the most expensive premium that I pay.

What about hosting porn on putlocker? When I was about to upload, there was a warning about not to upload adult material.

Do they strictly enforce this? All my rars are password protected.

    In Putlocker topic says:

    http://www.besthostingforums.com/95-...g-content.html

    Code:
    - Porn is allowed, as long as its non-streaming (you have the option to make files streaming or not)
So, you dont need to add password or even archiving it in .rar
Sucks for visitors, having to unrar and add password, is completly useless

You can also use bayfiles, its great for free users, never deletes, don't terminate accounts, files up to 5Gb in free. Upload with z_o_o_m?s File & Image Uploader or API. Browser upload sucks

Bayfiles, you can only download 1 file/hour for free users, that's a bit restricted for me.

Also, looks like they got their paypal terminated. Can't accept payment for premium at the moment.
