zomgbbqpizza.com evilddl.com scenemarket.orgIt really makes no difference if the script is on hotscripts or not?? If the person who finds it is not into warez etc.. they will not use it....
Most wcddl sites (and ddl cms) have "powered by wcddl" at the bottom, people could easily find the scripts this way, into the scene or not....
The fact of the matter is hotscripts is the best site to post any script, it send loads and loads of traffic to your project. I know this as i have scripts there myself and can see the hits in aw stats.
And at the end of the day you "experienced scenemasters" should have no problem making your sites better than random people installing a vanilla ddlcms after finding it on hotscripts so does it really matter?

On Topic : I appreciate Little Dragon's effort a lot. I know he has been spending his money to get this script made, and offering all this for free. idc for the coding errors atm, coz nothing is perfect from the start.Hope the script would grow to perfection with time"Advertising may be described as the science of arresting the human intelligence long enough to get money from it."

ddlcms.com xsaimex.com warezgod.comTo clarify once and for all:
The script is NOT made for noobs. I made the script. I did not make it for noobs. So don't tell me the script is made for noobs. Although noobs *could* use it, but they could also use scripts like PHPBB, Vbulletin, Windows 7, so what? We were all noobs at one point!
Thanks
I never said it was perfect (first was 1.0 beta, and this v2.0 I called it a pre-release, in order to iron out any issues) -- it's in development, and will continue to be enhanced, like any other script/software.
Kind of!
The test site on which we installed the 2.0 distro prior to release, by the way, got 3000+ pages indexed into Google, WITHIN ONE WEEK -- and that's with NO advertising, no linking, NOTHING, not even putting any downloads through -- that's with the default 20 or so dead links on the main page.
The script was not "promoted to users outside the scene" -- it was merely put on Hotscripts in order to spread the word and also go obtain the Google pagerank for certain keywords so people who search in Google for "ddl script" for example, would find DDLCMS. However, litewarez, I get what you're saying about too many noob DDL sites out there, but if they didn't use DDLCMS, they'd use any other DDL script around. If anything, I think DDLCMS helps the situation by forcing a standard.
Thanks
My Web Security Guard says that about a lot of pages, including false positives. Avast does it too for some clean sites. Rapidshareddl.com, by the way, has NEVER had any malicious scripts, malware, etc, not even one popup, ever. It's 100% clean, so please click your "Report as false positive" button! Thanks in advance.
