    ( of old sites )

Good choice to use them or go completely fresh?

So do i go for it and try n get brand new members from a fresh board ( which will be hard ) or use a backup sql of an old warez site and change it about.

Nah, it just went completely dead -(

And there was over 50,000 posts.

So it's either buying a site or going for broke with a complete fresh up and submit like crazy and spam people on MSN :/

Might aswell install the backup if there were 50,000 posts and re-do the style etc.

Even though it's kinda old? say late dec time?

I might even use some search engines and link them to forum and vice verser so might help get more traffic that way from fresh...

Lot of dead links are possible

I would start over, just to keep a good reputation (if users find out you took some other site's backup they usually aren't happy) and to keep fresh with up-to-date content.

I have a good plan for that

I've been deleting posts. Basically the old non-working links. so i'm down to about 18,000 posts, but there's still alot of good working links believe it or not elighted:
