Well you can but then the meaning of the plugin would be useless ?

What you can do is, you can achieve the image re-sizing through CSS.

Add this in your stylesheet

.entry img {
max-width: 680px;
}

Change the 680px to any size you want.

tried that but it doesn't work... do you know any similar to ncode image resizer?
and is it also possible to do that, removing the yellow bar?

What Blaze posted works just fine. But, what he forgot to mention is, every theme has different classes for the post. For example, his site might be using the "entry" class, but yours might be using "post".

Just change the entry according to what your site uses, or post the URL of your site and we'll help you out.
