Well. Your PirateView logo, is how can I say. SIMPLE , anyone can make it , even the person that don't know how to work in Photoshop.

You take shape of that ship + download that font + stroke on PIRATEVIEW. And done...

Why would someone pay for 2-3 minutes job?

The banners you have up on display now are nice enough, but you may want to show off some other creations, so show that you are versatile. A lot of people are in the need of a good designer, perhaps offer your services for free to build your credit and portfolio. After that, I am sure people would gladly pay for your assistance.

It takes some skill to put 1 and 1 together + have the right colours and placement and how do you know he didn't draw the pirate ship in illustrator?
