Max out Connection Speed

Ok, I'm looking for ways (or one good way) to max out my internet connection speed. I want to try any ways possible to make sure I can get the fullest connection possible.

If anyone has any ideas or tutorials. Hit me up with them. (Please don't say upgrade your internet)

Those booster dont do shit. I've tried it, and i think it slowed down my connection speed rather than increasing it.

I went to the windows XP section, and it said it was only from Windows XP Pro. I have Windows XP Home.

You could always uncap your modem; which is highly illegal.

Oh you could just install a custom filmware on your modem/router.

I Don't want to do anything illegal. Also if we can maybe get some good guides in here. It can benefit other people.

If you’re thinking about uncapping your cable modem, be warned. Your service agreement prohibits uncapping or removing software blocks that limit or “cap” bandwidth. Uncap your cable modem and you will at the very least be banned from your ISP for life.

I forgot to say, I have DSL. I would never think of doing that anyways.
