Shoutbox Color Help

I need help changing the bg color of my SB, it looks black and looks like shit, here is how it looks:



I want the bg to be white and the text to be black. How can I do that?

Wtf? You're saying that it's black and looks like shit but then you say you want bg and text to be black?

Lol it's okay. Uhh...try to edit the CSS or edit the shoutbox template in the skin you're using in vB. Should work... But the shoutbox normally takes the CSS of the website itself so maybe write a seperate CSS *In the edit skin setting...scroll to the bottom to "additional CSS" and make like
.shoutbox{
background: #ffffff
}
(or however CSS is done...I kinda forgot...haven't done it in awhile) and then implement it in the shoutbox templates in the skin instead of the default CSS in there (it will decare the skins CSS names but change them to your own) and it should work.
