I agree with JmZ about the "small audience" thing, but if you think you have the time and dedication, go for it. Imo though i wouldnt bother with an "off-the-shelf" script. Things like this are only good for one reason. Being unique.

no really if you have some REALLY unique ideas u might be able to pull it off whit a lot of work and good webteam.. but do not just clone some crap.. build it and make it special
