i just started to learn about linux and what is the difference between Desktop or server flavor?
I want to make the screenshots through ssh or a php script, i know that i need ffmpeg or mplayer right? but what commands to use?

I mean, is this for on a server/vps, a remote desktop account or on your home desktop?
