Torrent uploading question

First of all, not sure if it's the correct category, I apologize if it's the wrong one. I am currenty testing some torrent uploading, uploading torrents publicly, and add my site url to the torrent (atm just did a test with domain torrentz.bz). However I don't really know what sites I can post my torrent on.. I uploaded a game and only get like 30 leechers.. not really worth the trouble. Does anyone know how some uploaders get 10000s of leechers? (ps: I was the fastest one to upload this on torrnetreactor, piratebay and btjunkie (I post on those 3 sites ) ), so it's not an issue of uploading faster..

I used to get 300-400 Leechers at one time (600+ in Swarm)
But i never got 1k Leechers.
Maybe, if you upload a very much wanted stuff, you get leechers like that.
Example : when NFS MW was released, it got around 1.5k to 2k Leechers for every torrent I saw on Demonoid

You need connections, sites that would spread your releases and help you get leechers, not to mention Google traffic.

How would what sites spread my releases? I know about google, but I don't mean to get traffic to my site in the first place, I mean just how to get many leechers (thus more people view the .txt file, and google comes eventually..)

You need to upload for a while so people trust you, I had to do to the same, and also don't upload as anonymous because then nobody knows who are you lol.. Get that green skull on TPB (takes a few months, but it is worth it) and sites like torrentz.com might start list you as verified. (I cannot vouch for that.)

Yeah I know, was just doing a test with Anonymous hehe. Do you have any other suggestions?

Well I dunno, it's really as simple as that. Now that Mininova is dead it's a bit different because 95% of torrent indexers were using Mininova as their source, it's not that it can't be changed but I'm guessing that if they are gonna use TPB for their source now they will filter the content, I dunno, I'm considering options on my own now as well.
