    It would seem..

    1.You have another theme with the same name set in the config files (compare the other theme .cfg files to the new theme)
    2.Some edits you have done have stopped the new theme being detected.

    I didn't edit anything... I downloaded then uploaded

    and I tried three different themes so I don;t think that they all have the same name
