Just for kicks and giggles I was going to start a new site for fun. This was just going to be another warez forum etc.. I haven't had my own in a while, not since SceneW... (which now has porn damn you Exiles!! lolll)

Anyway, it was going to be a forum but I would have disabled registration and only allowed me to post. Making this literally... a one person site.

I'm tired of seeing poor quality crap double posted links everywhere, so I'd though I'd make my own site with exclusive only links for the guests (aka the people who download).

Then I though that might be too extreme, but offcourse i'd be just for me and for fun.

However I have another idea, but this requires more people.

I want to make a closed exclusive forum which will include only uploaders.

The forum will be a private registration, but open view to anyone. So the only type of posts will be download posts, there will be no "community" in the sense of talking, with just a general discussions area (just for the members).

This forum will include a set of strict standards:

• Private Registration - Uploaders will be interviewed and tested before allowing to post their content.
• Private Links - They will be viewable by everyone (even guests) but these links will be uploaded strickly for this site. They will either be passworded with the url, contain url in the link, or contain url in the downloaded files.
• User Cap: The uploader user cap will be at a certain number, maybe 30-50 people, or even more. Right now there is no number.
• Specific Uploaders: To ensure high quality and no doubling. Specific groups will be made for movies, tv, etc..
• Specific layouts for posting, no sloppy crap. And maximum mirrors for people (with rs/mu links being mandatory)
• Submissions to katz offcourse - 40/day.
• Quality Vs Quantity: Quality is the name of the game. This will NOT be a big forum with "big" statistics. However from an outsiders view, guests are going to LOVE the service. It will be a katz-exclusive submissions forum anyway, so if we upload/post just 40 threads a day we already have met our daily goals.

NOTE: The ideal uploaders/webmasters joining this "coalition" forum are people who already have sites or are part of major sites, and are willing to do this for fun, and just for the hell of it. If it gets successful, that works, if it doesn't it doesn't.

Call it a "super-forum" or an "allstar forum". Also since this will be comprised of "professional" admins and uploaders, no "moderators" are needed. It is expected for the uploaders to know what they are doing, no amateur sloppy posters allowed.

I am willing to have help from other admins, and will make an admin team because I am very very busy.

First thing is we need a domain name, and then start recruiting people. The admin team will have FTP/Admin access so we can update/install the board and help each other out. The board will run phpBB3. I will buy the domain, and provide free dedicated hosting.

Post here if you are willing to help, if this gets no enthusiastic following then I will just stick to my one man forum for fun lol.

basically this will be a blog which you can add publishers to post their own topic. Am i wrong here?
