Not much , Im in canada ..Been over a 5-6 weeks and haven't heard anything from them ,, yet.

I looked it up and it seems you a liable for close to a million or over 1 million USD in fines/settlement example Disney is seeking 300k in legal fees from you *Rough Estimate*

Its been since august that i havent heard anything from them , same from the other guy , whos in the U.S....

I just read this whole topic and i have a few questions.

- Some of the biggest companies in the world seem to want you dead, or you in jail, or a lot of money you probably don't have.
Aren't you guys supposed to be a little scared ?
Cause when i read your comments here, it sounds like a lot of fun...

- Let's say I'm in Europe.
Let's say my website is a Katz-like, more or less. Let's say that no download links (even rapidshare, ... ) can be found in my site.
What do I risk ?

- And finally, aren't those big companies a little stupid ?
They ask forum admins to remove their content, but it's absolutely not solving their problem.
The only right thing to do would be to kill the download link.
And not to remove the link from 1 of the 50 forums it has been posted.



Anyway my site's host told me they don't give a f**k hosting warez sites as long as no copyrighted file is hosted on their servers.

Some are the old owners , and new owners.

Domain reg'ters... namecheap,godaddy .. ect.. will give all info when asked.

I have gotten my fair share of complains over the years from: Ubisoft, Microsoft, Lavasoft, Symantec, EA, Web Sheriff, BSA, Evil Angel [realy nice company thought] and alot of smaller companys that i cant remember right now.

From sony, EA, warner bros, etc. Same as Spawn I guess. But don't reply or reply back piss off.. as long as you're not doing anything illegal, like linkingto rapidshare is fine. I would however be careful with bangbros, I was an inch away of getting sued by their lawyers for $150.000. I'm not saying I would've lost, but it's not a case you'd want to get involved with.
