inde3x.comI just read this whole topic and i have a few questions.
- Some of the biggest companies in the world seem to want you dead, or you in jail, or a lot of money you probably don't have.
Aren't you guys supposed to be a little scared ?
Cause when i read your comments here, it sounds like a lot of fun...
- Let's say I'm in Europe.
Let's say my website is a Katz-like, more or less. Let's say that no download links (even rapidshare, ... ) can be found in my site.
What do I risk ?
- And finally, aren't those big companies a little stupid ?
They ask forum admins to remove their content, but it's absolutely not solving their problem.
The only right thing to do would be to kill the download link.
And not to remove the link from 1 of the 50 forums it has been posted.
Anyway my site's host told me they don't give a f**k hosting warez sites as long as no copyrighted file is hosted on their servers.

LulzIMG.com chtbx.com RapidPremium.Net ReleaseLeech.com RLSLeech.com NinjaRobotPirateZombieNazi.comHey ibou12, you bumped a pretty old thread.
- You're overexaggerating. They don't want them "dead, in jail or a lot of money". It's just simple complaints that when dealt with properly, are NOT a problem. (Even ignoring them is a proper way to deal with them)
- You risk nothing if you have no content lol. A simple DDL site with no content is nothing. A DDL site with content is again nothing. A kickass big DDL site will have some legal issues but will not go down.
- Yes.

Ever heard of thepiratebay or tv-links.cc?
Of course there is a risk!
You wouldn't mind posting your real name and address on your pages, Cybermind?
@topic: 0 in the last two years.
Getting convicted... having to pay tens of thousands of euros in fines and legal fees. Being a convicted criminal you won't get a job to pay for all that. You can probably guess where it goes from there.
Worst case but you wanted to know.
Don't listen to those guys from Pakistan or some other 3rd world country who tell you everything's risk-free as those countries have yet to deal with more significant problems than copyright issues. Like insurgents etc...Webmasters there are probably safe from criminal prosecution but you are not.
