    They do give up there info. It is just that they are not responsible for it. But they do tend to get sued. Poor them. Also they make more money off of the accounts than from losing the money from lawsuits

    Every single filehosting company will give away your details if they are under legal pressure. Recent example : Metallica - Rapidshare case. So if you piss off the wrong people , you are in trouble.
