Windows Vista/7 Usage

I use Xp SP3 (more for games) and backtrack4.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my laptop but not on my desktop since it won't take it (no drivers for my motherboard) which is on XP.

x64 architecture has come along in leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and it really is the way forward. I upgraded the RAM in my laptop from 2GB to 4GB and it really does fly along! It is miles faster than XP ever was. Linux is probably still faster than Windows 7 but I must admit it is a massive improvement, it is going to be very interesting to see what they do with Windows 8 since that will be their "major" release rather than a stop gap which Windows 7 is (due to the fuck up they made with Vista).

Vista can go kiss a wookie for all I care it is bleeding awful
