IMHO, it doesnt matter whether they win or lose. I think this was more guided to start making google, bing and other search engines etc more responsible for what theyre search engines display. Its also not completely a matter of lawyers (all though im sure they have teams upon teams of the best around) the court makes the decision and they could get a judge who hates piracy as much as the little record company does and they could end up winning.
Overall, I'm with to0 and I bet googles already made an offer to settle outside of court before we even knew about this.
Also,
Dont trust TrafficMonster.

^^ Well said sir.
Does anybody remember the bing controversy with showing porn to kids? Search engines are getting to big and too powerfull that its getting pathetic. I remember the days of Ask.com, proberly the cleanest search engine. Internet censorship has gone to a whole new level but im with it to be honest.

If Google and M$ loses in the case, imagine every record and movie companies suing them. The lost would be astronomical imo

Neo, thats exactly the reason that they will settle outside of court. If it comes to trial and they have a chance at losing, EVERY SINGLE record company, movie productions company, music label, guy that wrote one song and put it on myspace, game productions company, etc etc and on and on WILL have a valid case against M$ or GooGle. This is a big point in warez right now, we got the torrent sites getting shut down, GM got raided by the feds (god knows what the fuck the feds are doing/did with the database full of emails of carders and sellers including my own.) we got dmca notices on the rise, VB is charging us more, MS is banning our MSDN accounts and keys created from them are being blacklisted. I mean theres alot of things happening all at once, now we have RapidShare in question along with Google and Bing being sued? Whats next? If they beat google with the case(if it gets that far) any one of us can be next. Whats the difference between google and us? Theyre linking to our links. Warez Linking is going to be stopped soon after theyre done with the big torrent sites, google and bing, lol, Theyll start shooting for the bigger forums. Youll see.
nows a good time to get a re rate hope for 5* and go legal imo, and thats what it seems people are doing anyways
All opinons expressed are just that, opinions. They are solely my own and have nothing to do with the belief of KWWH or its members.
