How do you run your contests?

Lots of us have RapidShare contests, or graphic contests etc..

Any specific way you run yours? If you do explain!

I've done some in the past too on other boards, but starting new ones and wondered what the best way to go about it was.

Most person who posts in a month? Most person who uploads in a week?
