Where did you go to learn php?

Hey guys I was wondering where I should go exactly to learn more about Php and MySQL? I am trying to learn how to code to make my current warez site better. I am really just using WCDDL to index MY downloads on my homepage.
More people are welcome but I would like to keep it just my downloads for now, or least until I can get a domain name and a offshore host[I am using a free host so it's not the best rite now...]. So I was wondering where some of you guys went to learn more on PHP then what W3Cschool teaches. I haven't really read any of their tutorials and I don't really want to until I know where the best tutorials are at. I really would like to hear from litewarez especially since I've seen his site and it looks amazing, but I'll take all the help I can.

the best way to learn is to grab a simple php script, a server that supports php, and some php tutorials and just fuck around with it for a few days. make a code change, back up the changes and see what it does. change it back and modify something else. see what your changes do and learn that way

Thats pretty much what I have been doing with my WCDDL script but nothing major just changing it like 1 line at a time.

get a php script and google different things you want to change. Play around with what ever you want. Thats the best way imo
