Back after nearly a year of silence. Most peeps here will know what this is but just in case you don't: #Leech is a free, fast (if not: fastest) and automated forum leecher. It reads topics from big warez sites and posts it to another forum. This is a continuation of the recently released #Leech Build Kit source.

Changes since Beta #2:

  • Fixed support for Warez-BB.
  • Fixed support for PornBB.
  • Fixed support for BayW.
  • Fixed support for WarezScene.
  • Fixed some minor GUI corruption bug under Vista/7
  • Improved exception (error) handling. It now no longer causes the leeching to stop, instead it dumps the errors to a log file.
  • Updated the iRadio tab.
  • Added support for adding custom radio stations, playlists and music files.
  • Improved duplicate thread posting prevention.
  • Added IRC functionality (work-in-progress).
  • Added Stats (work-in-progress).
  • Added the ability to logout, it no longer requires an app reboot.
  • Vastly improved overall stability.

Current 1.0.1 todo list:

  • Add support for "reversed leeching"
  • Add some basic support for SEO'd url's
  • Finalize IRC functionality
  • Replace the huge image on the Stats tab with a realtime graph and make the Reset button work
  • Make some changes to the About tab
  • Add more sites
  • Start asynchronous implementation of the working thread for potential 400% speedboost

Performance:
The main factor that determines the leeching speed is the site being leeched from/to. If the leeching is slow, it's most likely because of the site being slow. Second factor is your internet speed but it is unlikely that this will become a bottleneck at any given time. Once asynchronous support is done it will depend more on your net speed.

Important:

  • Do not count on me for support, though I might help a bit here and there you should count on the community for support. So don't PM with your problems.
  • Don't ask me to add your site to the list, not gonna happen. Unless it gets chosen.
  • Suggestions are always welcome. Whether or not they get actually implemented will depend on the dev time they require and on the actual idea.
  • If you post to or leech from a vB forum you need to make sure you don't use the WYSIWYG editor, you need to select the normal one in your settings.

The competition:
iLeech, TRF wants-to-look-like-#Leech-Leecher, Warez4Ever and the rest of the family I forgot (Especially PHP leechers).
