tried to check forum manager , but didn't help

go to admincp > forum manager > click edit on that forum and it should tell you the id.

it'll show you the ID as http://xxxx.com/newthread.php?id=122
Now 122 is your ID

if your trying to get the id in PHP you should just be able to use like (int)$_GET['id'] as what you see and what php parses are different
