wondering , are u getting a lot of money from ur warez sites ?

I mean , money enough for making unique style , hiring some staff ( some times like uplaoders want money to do unique uploads ) , buying hosting ( vpses or others ) and advertising


I don't know if selling txt links or ads spots gonna get u enough to cover all ur site fees .


so are u wasting money ( or let's say investing money ) ? or u already got some profits ( from ads or other things , please stat to help other webmasters ) after u cover all ur fees from ur site ?



I will start first :

I didn't got a bucks so far from my site , and paid more than 600 Euros on ways to make it as it's now .

and paying each month with a rate of : hosting ( vps ) 40 $ + Dedi server cost me 57 Euros + some rapidshare accounts on some active members on my site , like 30 $


looks like I exceed the 120 $/month .

But to be honest I'm proud to have that site

what about u ? share ur fails , or ur success ( hope we can find some nice numbers of profits , to encourage us to continue , or to get us shocked , newbies and step beside )

no need to say what exactly u get , just a range

im getting 0$ from my site.. i dont upload ither, i used to get 100+$ a month from donations back when it was going good, but now i dont even have a donation box..
WarezPredator/DaSmartshare get some money from text links , but DLthe.net has 0 profit at the moment.

I personally think that members won't post how much they earn from their sites publicly.

Anyways, when I use to own InWarez.org, we had a few clicksor ads here and there (a banner, and pop-under in the xxx section). It made around 100 - 200$ (1st month) then we removed the ads (as members didn't like them).

Im arround 4 years in the scene and my sum is:

approx $-400

Its because i never use ads.. and i do all my stuff the legal way..
And because i hate shared hosting

What I get from hotfile-zone: $0.
All the money goes to our members (hotfile uploaders) lol

How much I have spent:
ad spots on other sites: about $180
monthly server fees: whatever it is, I just accept all charges.
hotfile-zone.com domain: ~$10

I could easily make quite a but of money by adding some ad's, but ad's suck so I choose not to.


for ddl0.com: $0.
Ive spent about $60-70 on it and it has no ad's.. so, no earnings.


total loss: $400 and increasing.


edit: oh i just remembered, I sold a 5 dolla ad spot in the header of hotfile zone. that is all.
