PC Seriously messed?
So uhm.
My pc is dead for a while now. I had vista before, formatted HDD, installed windows 7 64 bit. Now there's where the problems started. After installing I install my wlan adapter (using my CD), ofcourse open IE, and download firefox. Which doesn't work. Nothing I download works, or can install. I just open the .exe/MSI, press yes for the security crap, and after that it either says Firefox has stopped working (APPCRASH), or nothing happens at all. I've formatted over 4 times the past days, tried various Windows 7 releases (even ones that did work on my laptop), tried various DVD brands to burn, used slow speeds, disabled UAC and that kinda crap. Searching @ google for days, still no solution. If anyone can help.. gladly appreciated. The Coon Reviewed by The Coon on . PC Seriously messed? So uhm. My pc is dead for a while now. Sounds like a hardware issue to me (or you have a bad copy of Win7, if you want PM me for a MSDN download link) :/

Well I tried loads of various versions now including 32 & 64 bit ones, Beta ones, OEM versions. Tried various DVDs (Samsung, Philips). The most odd part is the DVD I used here for my first install, worked fine at my laptop. Hardware failure is basically impossible as everything worked fine until I deleted Vista and installed Win7, did numerous checks on Ram, HDD etc. before I uninstalled Vista, cause my warranty voids in 4 months, lol.

Nope, I don't have either disks anymore, pretty frustrating. And to burn a dvd I have to go to my mates house, download the stuff, burn and get back home. Did this a few times the past days, getting annoying. Cause my laptop broke the same day windows on my pc messed up (laptop fell, screen literally snapped off

Forgot about that ^
Try not installing them and connecting by wire and see what happens if you have problems even with the new drivers
