Where should i buy a domain?

im a new member who registered recently
i have bought and sold accounts on other forum, but heard this was a good one also, thats why i joined

so i was wondering, where should i buy a domain from?
im not sure where to buy one from, because ever since godaddy closed my domain due to DMCA or something, it really pissed me off

well, any advice or tips given will be appreaciated

and if you got a dmca complaint they would only close ur hosting id think ?

Also nameCheap people like, i have been with godaddy for 3+ years and even hosted with em for 2 , with no issues. or dmca.
