How to Pause MSDN downloads

Can any one tell me how can I pause downloads from MSDN ? I use IDM but it shows no resume capability.. and i have poor upload speed.. Plz help me..

Why would you want to pause it while downloading it if you have poor UPLOAD speed lol

i cannot download at a stretch... i want to pause.. so no way ?

microsoft's servers don't allow pausing

as microsoft don't give you power to pause your downloads, you can't do it. this is really simple.
IDM or any other downloader can only resume, when server (from where you downloading) give permission of resuming.

the mdsn server gives me the slowest downloads ever. 80-100KB/s (my connection capable of 1MB/s) and it often drops out completely.
