this script will rar a folder ( 200 Mb archives, paswword, comment, etc ), Moves the rars to a temp folder and uploads to rs collectors acc , saves download links in a text file ..

mate bash upload is single threaded and single upload at a time. it will take ages to upload 100gb data. install wine on ur server and use rapidshare uploader tool

^^ its based on perl script that rapidshare released..
its pretty fast..tried a dvd rip on 100 Mbps server..didnt took much time

Make users able to place a watch over certain folder that checks whenever something has been added. Like if you are downloading something from rapidshare into folder1 , it auto watches whenever something has been fully downloaded and then runs your script on the file/folder that has just been downloaded into folder1.

PS: Been using a script like yours for a long time already

desiboy, i also used it alot mate, using a for loop and perl is not a big deal. but it sucks for me as i am uploading around 900gb of data. so i called worldstream and reinstalled server with win2003. rs uploader from rs is good.

you are correct..
it takes approximately 30 mins for uploading 1.4 gig movie..
which is not good
