Host File Transfers.
Hi guys.
Could someone help me with some info.
I just got some new hosting and want to transfer all my old site to the new server.
I have made a complete back-up of the site and downloaded it. I now want to up this to the new site. This is where I get confused. I have a zip file that I downloaded which obviously contains all the old sites config. How do I up this to the new address and set it up? When I unzip it, will the files auto set themselves in the correct folders or should I up the zip to the home directory and then move all the folders to the correct places? If the second is the case...im lost! haha.
Could someone please give me a walk-through?
Thankx in advance..

Rapidleech.com FullMaza.com WarezOcean.com MediaFireForum.comThe best method is :
1- Upload your backup to the new server including the database if any.
2- Point your domain towards the new nameservers.
3- Change the config of your site according to the new server.
There is also another method in which you can transfer each and everything from the old host to the new one. Contact your service provider for this.

Cheers.
To Point 1. I have done...
To Point 2. Im gonna wait until I can see the site myself on the temp URL
To Point 3. Thats my last resort coz the host cannot guarantee when the transfer will be ready if they handle it.. Thats not a problem, its just that I wanna try and minimize down-time.
Oh well, mebbe I will leave it up to the new host.
Thanks for your comments mate.

Complete Backup can restore from WHM panel..
Just ask your hosting provider to restore it!
Share Hosting: He will suspend you with High Resource uses reason, and he said you must move to SDH..
SDH: He will suspend you with un-closed MySQL access reason and your invoice will come faster than normal invoice date.. :)
