Firefux issue.... too much memory

Reinstalled my computer and downloaded FF off their site.
now i just noticed its been lagging.

taskmgr showed 600MB and now 300MB memory usage by FF.

Ver: 3.6

anyone having issues?

I`am Using FireFox 3.5.7 . With 17 tabs open 8 of them refreshing on their own . Its taking around 283MB ..

I have three tabs open and it's using 303mb.. Maybe since you just installed it the program was doing some time of behind the scenes update or something?

my FF only take that much when export/import DB with text output/input..

mines using 358mb with firebug and lots of other addons and 8 tabs

Mines fucked up.

It starts off at like 28m but then it just keeps getting higher and higher, it's got to 1gb before it's a really biatch.

Remove the addons? That can increase the load..

jus disabled fasterfox and seems alot better.

although did seem to overload when i opened 20 tabs atonce
