Hide the section asap, and move to another host.
I doubt ecatel would have a problem with hosting it.

A company can't get you to delete a whole section of your forum as they don't have the power to do. All they can do is get you to remove specific threads that have copyrighted material for the company they represent.
As for hosting in the UK aint a good idea if it's a warez site.
Best going to China or NLYAY!

Google.comwell , when u mention a section with the name of a company , that's somethin different , for example , when u make a section for TTC and offer only the company products , then they will ask u to close the whole section , but if u said Movies , they can't ask u to do so , as it might have other movies than that complaining company
The section I got a notice for , is like that , a name of an Author which represent a company .
will keep checking around if DC in HK have no problems with hosting my site even if they got floods of DMCA emails

Yea the uk is quite strict concerning warez your best bet is nl or hongkong like someone above (cba to find who it was) said hide the sections if you dont do anything about it they may take further action their is no need to shut the site down though
Signature too big, removed by staff.

You guys are mistaken, Linking/Torrent file hosting ect is not illegal in the uk as there is no mention of 'facilitation’ being illegal under the current copyright law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988), Further to this unlike what most people believe dmca does not apply to any country but the usa.
If under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 it was illegal then alan ellis would not have been charged under the Fraud Act. When the Conspiracy to Defraud case went to court he was unequivocally found not guilty.
Now in your case you have a whole section called "Company X" this could possibly come under Trade Marks Act 1994, so i would suggest abreviating or mispelling the name in company name in question. (the same as most people replace microsoft for msoft!)
