I get tonnes of dmca for the pics upldd in my pix host. My server is US thought they aint particular in shouting on me, they do a reminder and i delete those claimed shit. Itsnt a grt thing if you are hosting with a trusted guy who will hide your ass.

in the Netherlands, they are a bit relaxter, but still Most of the companies are complying with DMCA notices, i host a major Bloghosting site with Leaseweb, and every now and then i get a warning from 'remove your content' or a other attorney. Mostly i comply with it, my hoster is just sending me the complaints i send them to my users and reply to the hoster.

Do they also send notifications even for images?? What do the images do for DMCA?

Ooo, yes they do. Actually a lot, as don't have the financial position to fight this in court i believe there are good reasons they couldn't do it, but heck as long as it isn't every day i am happy.
