Google.comI got a damn DMCA Notice
It was regarding a whole section in my forum
it looks damn serious , my host asked me to delete the whole section , and no other options , my site hosted in UK , will a hong kong offshore host can help me ignoring that message ?
the damn email isn't as the usual ones , I donno what to do , it's just a section similar to many others , the section is for an author for Business Products , that teach Business site owners some ways to do to promote their sites , and each product worth Ks of $$
if I just deleted that section , I will get other messages to delete other section , and in the end , I have to get my site down
damn , the site just got some nice traffic , and nice members
can't get it down like that

Agreed! Any files that do not comply with any International Licenses agreements cannot be hosted in the UK. i.e. warez, copies of copyrighted material even in text form, etc etc. Did your host inform you of all the TOC's etc? If not, get the hell away from it and go off-shore! I can reccommend a host as can every other member here...look in the Hosting Offers/Discussions Section.

Warez Linking is Legal in the uk as unlike other countries, ‘facilitation’ is not illegal under UK copyright law and equally dmca does not apply to the uk as it is an american law. It would appear your host does not relise these two fundimental points.
Torrent Files are equally legal in the uk, as was recently provided, in the case of Alan Ellis.
Now it would be illegal to host a cyberlocker in the uk, but not provide links to a cyberlocker or torrent files, or run a tracker.
