timthumb modification for external images (Done)

Hey,

This script resizes images on my blog, but it doesn't work if i added a link from an image host, it has to be from my server :/ can somebody please modify it to work with external image hosts? thanks.

PS: it has been done before by litewarez, i asked him but he seems to be busy, I'd appreciate it if anybody can do this for me, Thank you.

Ive also converted a few deprecated functions as my php install was going mad lol! ahould be ok for PHP 5+ now and it still all good with caching eetc

Hi! OK, the mod definitly works for external site, but it cancels the thumbnails that are on the local server. Is there anyway to use the code you have and still use local content?

Firstly I am new here and I am not tech savvy I need help with a wordpress theme i recently purchased called weekly from theme junkies. They cannot support me and said that i need a theme modification.

I would like for my images to show up on the home page thumb nails (auto creation) from my syndicated post. For the post that do not have a image I would like a default image show up only in the homepage thumbnail.

May you please direct me to someone that can code this for me.
