    ok well how abouts would i go displaying a media player on my site, aside from windows media player, which is completely nubby.

    Their are lots of good simple flash players you can add to your site that are free and look really cool. It sorta depends on what your playing. Is it going to stream live like shoutcast or is it just going to play mp3's that's stored on the server or someone else's server?

    but
    the files streaming are FLV
    and these media players don't support anything but DivX and AVIs
