Question on DMCA

You know its funny how google can get away with it, because they still promote warez, maybe not intentially, but most pirated files can be indexed by google , its not like google can block out the word warez, as some people may just be research not searching for content

in my opinion there is two reason why google gets away with linking to warez and is able to stay primarily hosted in usa.

1) they comply with dmca takedown requests
2) if they where told to shutdown or filter searches they have money to throw at any lawsuit brought against them, plenty of money infact they make billions in profit, it would most certainly be one hell of a fight.

Number 2 is also the same reason why when UK ISP Tiscali was purchased by TalkTalk (who are actively refusing to hand over customer information) have miraculously been dropped from an ACS:Law court order seeking customer information, with ACS:Law commenting “Not seeking against Tiscali (previously respondent #8 in the application),” on the court order.

if you're with a good host, they will forward DMCA complains to you, and they wont shut you down.

I think they are US based you in the uk so i don't think you can get in trouble by them idk if the uk has their own system.
