IPB Support Sucks

I tell you what they are not worth a shit . It take sthem 3 days to respond and they never can figure out the issue without sending it to a higher level of support
I think im at support level 5 now after 8 days and the issue still isnt fixed

NOTE: its was a out of the box bug at that

I'm pretty sure IPB, as other sites. Don't give a crap about warez sites.

^ yep, they dont like warez sites, which is understandable.

They are incredibly helpful if you have a legit site and need assistance (neowin, for expample, had a huge amount of support from invision when they were upgrading from 2 to 3)

i disagree, they have always been helpful to me, they usually reply within a day, only once did they take a couple of days and that was back when ipb 3.0.1 was new and the ticket volume was high...

and with bugs its gets escalated once its at tier 3 Rikki will have a look and ask you if they can debug on your server and if you say yes they will then fix and then ask you if you want them to revert it and wait for an official fix or leave the fix there... i had this myself with a bug in ipb 3.0.1...

In my expience they are not like vbulletin, they do not suspend your licence and they do offer good support, even rikki and the over devs have fixed bits on my site, only once was anyone over there unhappy and that was when they found some links to an old version of ipb posted... even then they asked me politely just asked to remove the couple of posts.... and then they went back to fixing the issue.

Yea thats whos working on my issue. They respond every 24 hours requesting diifernt info
Like firs it was my admin details
24 hours later it was ftp details
48 hours later it was cpanel details
I could see such a slow response if it was something i did. but this is an right out of the box bug.
