The top ten file hosts I would say are:
[$] is put by ones that have a (stable, free) pay-per-download program, [P] is put by ones that have premium accounts that people often have.
1. Rapidshare [P]
2. Megaupload [P]
3. Hotfile [$,P]
4. Netload.in [$,P]
5. Uploading.com [$]
6. Storage.to [$]
7. Deposit Files [$]
8. Mediafire - does not pay or have popular premium accounts, but offers great service. Deletes files often.
9. Easy-Share [$]
10. Uploaded.to [$]

RapidShare all the way. Only proablem I can see with them with uploading is that they have a max file size of 200mb to be uploaded via a web browser.
Also MegaUpload is also a good alternative, apart from that the rest sucks.YAY!

How can you say that the rest suck..
hotfile has better speeds for premium users than rapidshareHATERS GONNA probably bring up some valid points considering I am an ignorant little twat so far up my own ass that i blame my problems on everyone and if you criticize me you're automatically wrong.

Because it's my opinion. Don't shoot me down just because I don't like hotfile. And yeah maybe they're faster for you but not for everyone.
YAY!

Oh, I absolutely agree with SceneMan from the user's perspective.
But most uploaders (unfortunately) upload to sites like Hotfile looking to get paid.

Rapidshare would be my number one, from downloaders perspective, with premium acc.
Megaupload is nice for free users, never tried prem, same for hotfile

reddit.comBest for premium: Rapidshare, Worst for free: Rapidshare
Best for free users: Mediafire, and some other smaller, like hulkshare..
Hotfile is great in my opinion.. Good for free and for premium, and popular..
