What do I need for optimal performance?

Looking into setting up a movie streaming site, obviously nothing to big as a startup but still adequate size.

What am I looking at as far as hosting goes for my needs to be able to do this? Say at first I want at least 200 movies in the database.

Well youd need 2 Dedi's for that, 1 for the forum/site and the other for the files.. it still will be slow loading.. you might wanan think about using Megavideo etc, or find a Video streaming site that will allow you to upload, but most of em that you pay for will TOS you for uploading copy-written movies

SO even as a startup im looking at shelling out quite a bit of cash.
