Whats a good method. I get close to 1000 uniques a day but no one ever registers

If you get your visits through DDL's the visitors probably just wanted to download the file and then leaving you again....

lots of Leechers in this scene,need to offer some unique content on your site,all warez forums offer warez,add something unique,run contests etc

I dnt see how the content being unique will get people to register

... if you provide something unique then people might signup.. if you provide the same stuff as absolutely 100000's of other sites then why should people signup on your site..?

The only way you can get registrations is to give a good reason to sign up, sort of an incentive to join.

if you dont see how unique content will help your registration your in the wrong business,as mrsandvik said there are literally 1000s of otehr sites offering exactly the same content as you are now,so why register?.. add something unique that other sites arent offering,or running giveaway contests (and actually monitoring the contests so people dont get pissed if ya dont reply,or give prize days after end date)

Yeah iMage is right, which is why good torrent trackers have huge user bases.

How awesome would it be to have a scene release group upload content for your forum like they do for torrent sites

I just checked your forum.

here's some obvious tips:
remove the ad's - 1000 uniques will get you nothing.
get a skin - you're using the default IPB skin. get something that relates to your site.
incentive - give people an incentive to join. unique content is just a start.
