Because htop is better and has a kinda gui interface.

Meh! same as using top command .

I've used htop for a long time, it is extremely useful.

You can't tell without using it but really, it is.

Especially the ability to scroll through the listings (up, down, left, right) and highlight processes to be killed. Also has various other features which you can find on the site.
