Try to buy a Dedicated server. Help me please.

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying this Server from kimsufi


It will be a linux platform. So will be enough for a heavy uploader like me?

Like i want to do a heavy download/upload/rar/unrar jobs with this server.

How much time do you think will take download/unrar/rar/uploading for say 700MB movie file would take with this Server? I will be the only one using it.

And also I'm not experience with Linux. So will Linux be a good choice for uploader like me? All i know is that for uploader programs there are many for Windows and i dont know any for Linux (maybe it cause i havnt search for it much yet) . Any advice and suggestion would be appreciated.

If you are a heavy uploader, then this server will be too weak for you.
It will take longer than usual to rar/unrar archives.
The speed will be excellent uploading and downloading.
There are linux alternatives to every single Windows application out there, but if you have no experience with Linux, I's recommend going with Windows.

Celeron are the worst/slowest processors I've ever had the misfortune of using, I'd recommend going with anything apart from a Celeron

Well, its true but ATOM is even more worst than the celeron. ATOM is not even able to play the youtube HD videos,

so what do you recommend? For uploader like me? VPS with around $40 can do that job ?? like a smaller HDD like say 40gb but a bigger RAM and a more powerful processor??

But VPS are shared so i highly doubt it can do the work well..

It takes four minute to rar/unrar a 4 GB release.
Not good for a heavy uploader
