    BSNL
    bad for gaming.
    crap and slow support
    bad for torrenting
but the plans are pretty good imo.. ( 2.5 gig / month during day and unmetered during nights at 2mbps) and its only around 500 INR / month

Airtel on the other hand offers quality service ..but the costs are high..

    for 2MBP/s unmetered plan..its around 1.5 k INR/ month..
300 INR free calls from the land line..
200 INR Speed on Demand ( we can use it and raise our connection speed upto 4 Mbp/s when needed )
    100 INR Gaming offer
    free F-Secure license
desiboy Reviewed by desiboy on . How fast/slow is your internet connection? Just wondering what type of connection KWWH users have :). Me: 4.6Mbit down; 448Kbit up - Not uber fast but it gets the job done. I have another unsecured wifi connection in my area which I sometimes use: 15Mbit down; 512Kbit up - Good enough speed when I need something a bit faster There are another 2 WEP-secured connections in for which I have the WEP key (cracked, Linux <3) but I never actually used those so I have no idea about their speed. BSNL 2 Mbps unmetered with a 50 GB fair usage policy costs around Rs 2800. So Airtel is way more cheaper.

BSNL is not bad for gaming or torrenting, every wired connection has got good PING times. But I find it irritating here when it gets disconnected all the time.
