    Exactly. Luck.

    You can host warez anywhere.
it's just a matter of someone reporting you and getting caught.

The reason all these websites go up and down and such, are because of all the warez kiddies reporting people. Either 1 - the person pissed the other person off so they want to take them down. or 2 - the person just wants to make their warez site the "best" so they want to take down competition.

So yes, any "small" site can be hosted anywhere. but once you get to bigger sites that have tens of thousands of people, then you need to go somewhere "safe". You will still get problems anywhere, just not as much.

By the way, for that site, you can easily take it down since it's on shared hosting with bluehost. =/

    It's not all luck,

Take a look at MechoDownload for example, they've been in the US since the beginning. You just have to go with a host that knows the law and don't get scared of a DMCA notice for warez linking.
    YAY!

    Who hosts MechoDownload?

And I agree with SceneMan, Elio hosted Warez-Centre in Canada and didn't get any trouble. All depends on your host.
