Hi,

which one of these locations will give best speeds;

France
Germany
Luxembourg
Netherlands
UK
USA

Which one should I chose? I'm going to buy a VPS so I can have Remote Desktop but I have no idea what location that will give the fastest download and upload speeds. I am going to dl from pvt trackers and I will upload to filehosts such as rapidshare, hotfile, megaupload, x7..

They are all Linux Servers

Definatly not Netherlands imo. Germany would be a good place I think.

There is no single answer. As different file uploading service is based on different locations.

Also where will the most people using the server be located? The closer to the server the less delays and hops.

Germany or France (that's if you'll be torrenting, because most of the torrenters use OVH, you can get good peer speeds at all times).
