    Default Windows 7 Missing Files

Ok so I have a computer with 8tb hdd's and 4 of them are mains. Today my kid deleted a folder called kids which has all her movies in it. I restored it from the recycle bin and the file is not showing back up in the folder. I would assume it's gone, but the free space on the hdd is the same. I went to folder options and checked view hidden files and it's still not there. So then I highlighted all the files and folders on that drive and it says there's only 733gb used but in my computer it says of 933 or w/e there's only 2.28gb free space left. so i'm missing 200gb.. If anyone can help me resolve this i'd be extremely grateful...

There is some programs you can use to restore deleted files.

    Try google it.
HATERS GONNA probably bring up some valid points considering I am an ignorant little twat so far up my own ass that i blame my problems on everyone and if you criticize me you're automatically wrong.

Press F8 when booting to get the boot menu, select Repair My Computer , then chkdsk

    u need a recovery tool.

use r-studio run a scan over the hard disk. might take a whole day for your Terra HDDs. after that a huge list of files will be listed and you have to search for your files. You might find your files with different file name but same location or, in a totally different location (directory) this is what they call cross linked directories.

Atleast this is the case in windows xp. i don't know if windows 7 makes your life easy.

Anyway u will thank me after that since it saved my ass ALL the time, (almost)
