its slow compared to my forum.

hotfile-zone has been open for less than 5 months.

+ the linkchecker bot auto-deletes all the dead links.
+ we're getting about 40 new members and 400-600 new threads/posts per day.

you need to give people an incentive to join...
leave the download forums open for guests to view, so more users will sign up to post their downloads. close the forums with 'tutorials', 'useful links', 'account dumps', etc. - you will get a lot of members signing up and about 10-20% of them should stay active.
