No it wasnt it was a spoof email. You can fake the sent from address quite easily.

I just received this email today. It's in the junk folder. I deleted it immediately.

Got this too today.. Seem legit coz it was sent from support.at.rapidshare.com, but no link to validate... Wait answer from RS.
