It's amazing, being in a community can cause hate. Competitors or not - DDOS isn't cool :)

i think its good myself,to many were taking advantage of it and bumping there own threads several times in a row.. so the only replys to a thread were from the original poster in the forum of "bump..." , Another bump etc, making the forum messy... as danny said if someone is interested in your thread they will look

I see wherre your coming from yes buy say if the thread is a coulple of pages back etc then you cannot move it up.
Really is a pain for people trying to update a topic trying to sell something etc even the simple update of saying sold you cannot do.

think they should make it limited to say 1 a day sort of thing.

    +1 Stroming...

Having same problem with my Selling thread for Header Link 1 new spot has opened and if I post there the last post gets edited and it gone way back and for 1 Spot I don't want to make a new topic guess that would make the forum more messy if people start to make new threads for everything..

i think tht would work limiting bumps,im not sayin you guys do it,but ALOT of sellers bump there threads several times a day,and spam the chatbox with links to there threads as well.. i guess thats the reason for this, maybe limit it to be able to bump a thread only once every couple days if possible... and noparse urls in teh box to stop the spam there as well (i know tht wont be popular though lol)

Why not just have a rule where you can't bump more than every 12 hours? And if you do, you get suspended. It sucks not being able to bump after my topic being off the front page for like 2 days, you know?
    Shorten your links with http://2sl.im
